It’s Halloween time, folks, so we have a ghost story for you straight from coal country.
Harlan, Kentucky, is known around the world as “Bloody Harlan” for the battles miners had to make to win concessions from the coal companies. And bloody is right, as you’ll hear in today’s tale about Headless Annie, who is said to still roam Black Mountain.
