Both New York Mayor Bill de Blasio and the Wall Street Journal recently issued dubious comments about the morality of wealth. De Blasio argued that too much American wealth sits in the “wrong hands,” while WSJ editors defended the wealthy because of their many acts of charity. In a recent Carolina Journal column, John Locke Foundation Senior Economist Roy Cordato explained why both the mayor and the newspaper editors are wrong.
