Dr. Michael LaFemina, D.Ac, MS Ed is a Licensed Acupuncturist and a co-founder of Golden Light Acupuncture and the founder of Meditation for Families. His specialities in clinical practice are acute and chronic pain, long-term health optimization, and pediatrics, and he is the former Director of Continuing Education at the Tri-State College of Acupuncture. Michael holds a Doctorate in Acupuncture from the Pacific College of Health Sciences, a Masters in Education from Hofstra University, and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Hofstra University Honors College with double majors in History and Music. Michael has been teaching yoga and meditation since 2011. He lives in the Hudson Valley region with his wife and two daughters. When not at work, Michael enjoys cooking, playing music, and working in the garden.
