Healing According To Your Faith
Mark 5; Colossians 2:15; Number 15:28-40.
The synagogue official displayed his faith publicly, but Jesus brought back the official's daughter in a private manner. Jesus recognized the man's strong faith, and even though he expressed his fears, Jesus reassured him to "only believe." This man's servant may have seen Jesus as a Teacher and the official as well, yet he had great faith, and Jesus reminded him of that.
The woman with the hemorrhage spent all her money on physicians but found no cure for her sickness until she touched Jesus' cloak and was immediately healed. She had internal faith and a strategy to find healing - she reached out and touched His garments, and power flowed from Him.
Whether we openly declare our faith for all to see or quietly pray for the needs of others in the solitude of our homes, God sees and acknowledges our faith and rewards it accordingly. Faith is the cornerstone of our Christian journey, leading us to healing, restoration, and life in Jesus.
