“Healing Arts Wellness will officially open its doors inside Powerhouse Gym in West Bloomfield. Many people know me through my interests in faith, music, philosophy, and writing. What many don’t know is that physical fitness has also been an important part of my life for decades. From martial arts and weightlifting to navigating life as a blind person, I’ve come to appreciate just how important our physical well-being is to living well. Over the last several years, that appreciation has grown into a vision: creating a place that encourages people to invest in their health not only when something goes wrong, but as a normal and intentional part of living well. Healing Arts Wellness is the result of that vision, and I’m excited to finally bring it to life.” - Omar
