Healing from Hurt
Healing is a journey, not a destination. When we face emotional wounds, whether from betrayal, loss, or disappointment, it's easy to feel overwhelmed. But remember, God is close to the brokenhearted and heals our wounds (Psalm 34:18). Healing doesn't mean forgetting, but allowing ourselves to be restored and made whole again.
In times of pain, it's crucial to bring our hurt to God. He invites us to cast our cares upon Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). Trusting God with our wounds requires vulnerability, but it opens the door to His transformative power. Let the Holy Spirit renew your mind and bring peace where there once was turmoil.
Forgiveness is also a key part of healing. Releasing bitterness and resentment frees us to move forward. As you walk this path, cling to God's promise: He will restore what has been broken and make it beautiful again (Joel 2:25).
