It's easy to think at times that caring for a child may distract us from our purpose. Parenting responsibilities may seem to interfere with the work we want to do, and we don't realize that our children are here to help us fulfill our purpose (e.g., reminders of patience, discernment, replanting virtuous seeds, etc.), and along the way, we help them do the same.
