Somatic work = learning how to communicate with your body and releasing tension through movement, breath, and sensation. The intention of this episode is to serve as: 1. An introduction to the world of somatics for people that are completely new and 2. To deepen the conversation away from a ‘mechanistic’ approach (because our bodies are not machines), into a more intuitive approach for those of us who are already familiar with the practice.
