1 John 3:1, "How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!"Before Jesus left to return to Heaven, He told His disciples that He would not leave them as orphans in the world. He then said that He would send Holy Spirit to stir up a spirit of "Son-ship" in them & every believer to come.We are not orphans, we are beloved sons & daughters. Orphans & sons have completely different life views & experiences. Why live a life of need & want as an orphan when you can live a life of fullness & contentment as a son?
