In our current culture of prescription drugs and self-medicating, entheogenic medicines, like Mother Ayahuasca, offer an extraordinary potential for PTSD recovery, overcoming depression, and other human struggles. With conversations sparking up around entheogens and psychedelics around the globe, I sit down with active duty Air Force veteran & ceremonial facilitator Sergio Saenz to hear about his journey and gain more familiarity with the subject. Suppose we are to harness the full power of entheogenic & psychedelic medicine in their modern resurgence. In that case, there needs to be improved accessibility (sponsorship opportunities like- Agape Heroes) and an invitation for more equality and inclusion in ceremonial spaces. Furthermore, there is a necessity for more grounded, educational conversations around this work- largely regarding the preparatory and integration process of these experiences.
