Hey Y'all !
**As you listen to this episode I apologize for the minor technical issues.**
This week our guest is Mumbi Kasumba who is a Zambian singer/songwriter and guitarist. She wrote her first song at 11-years-old and hasn't looked back since. Growing up in Namibia, Mumbi drew from Southern-African musical inspirations to cultivate a unique sound. She contributed music to the Kenyan film Rafiki, which was screened at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival. She has since collaborated with celebrated artists from around the world. Her latest single "She" is a soothing blend of folk and soul. "She" is a melodic celebration of womanhood.
