The Dead Sea is the lowest point on land. Water flows down into this depression and evaporates, leaving behind the salt and minerals it carried, making the sea completely devoid of any life. Sometimes, when we’re in our low points where we are feeling tormented, confused, feeling the pain of guilt and regret, we feel like our lives are devoid of any life, any joy.

In Ezekiel 47, God gave the prophet a vision of a river flowing into the sea, bringing a refreshing and life to the Dead Sea. Jesus is the fountain of living water that refreshes us, bringing life to our dead existence, giving us purpose and joy!
