This is the first installment of Verto Voices, an ongoing series from Verto Health! In this episode, we discuss health equity with Dr. Michael Anderson, Verto's Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Anderson is a part of the urban Indigenous community in Toronto and is of Mohawk (Bear Clan) and mixed European descent. He is the Strategic Lead for Indigenous Health at the University Health Network, having previously served as an Indigenous Cancer Lead and a Surgical Oncology Lead at Cancer Care Ontario. In addition, he is a senior researcher at the Waakebiness Institute for Indigenous Health.
