My wife and I had COVID-19.
Today was my first day back in the gym now that I've achieved the benchmarks for days since first symptoms, days without a fever and symptom reduction. The strangest part - I never actually tested positive, even though my wife, Rebecca, did. We made no effort to distance from each other after I developed symptoms and yet... I still tested negative... TWICE and with two different forms of testing.
And that is, in large part, what this episode is about. It's not about the symptoms we experienced, but instead it's about the difficulties we had in getting testing in the first place, the cost associated and the lack of confidence in the results.
COVID-19 is bad enough without the entire testing system being a headache all on it's own!
