We too often neglect one of the most important things in life, and that is our health.
Not only physical but psychological health as well.
Having good eating habits and exercising regularly is good for our physical bodies.
But what about our mental health?
Often we aren’t even aware that we have a problem.
Here are some of the early warning signs:
* A sudden change in eating habits
* Pulling away from people and activities
* Low or no energy
* Having a feeling like nothing matters anymore
* Feeling hopeless or helpless
* Increase in alcohol or drug use
* Unusual mood swings
* Change in sleep habits, like sleeping too little or too much
So how can we improve our mental health?
For mild conditions, it can be as easy as talking to a trusted friend. This can open a gateway to healing just by confiding in someone. Other cases may be best to seek professional help. There are a ton of organizations that can assist you.
Always be mindful of your health. These bodies we live in to include our emotional bodies, sometimes need a little assistance. And that’s okay! Don’t hesitate to reach out if you need to.
