As a rational objector to much of medical care, I often get lumped into a group of crazies who have no real credible rational for their health opinions. These crazies hurt the possibility that other rational-thinking people will be willing to listen to an oppositional argument.

Your immune system is just like other parts of your body in that if you don't use it, you lose it. Now that we are over the pandemic, we need to return to a more normal amount of exposure to germs and out friends. 

Moving past COVID presents some interesting questions not only about how we deal with our health, but about our society. There will be questions about our immunity, our mental health, and our politics. Dr. Bob starts the discussion about what life is like in a post-pandemic world.

Scientists do not lie about the results of their studies. But those results can be reported in such a way that changes the view of those results and how they are reported in the media. This episode addresses this discrepancy and to discern facts from over-optimistic reports.  

Both my wife and I came down with COVID. In this episode I describe how we got it, what it was like having it, and how we got over it. Although many people have a different experience with this illness, I describe what it was like to have it, and the steps I took to get over it.

There has been many claims that the COVID-19 vaccination has been responsible for the precipitous decrease in the number of COVID cases. But, as the hard facts show, not enough people were vaccinated to create a large drop in the number of new cases. With today's social media and internet access, many only hear opinions and approaches in healthcare that we are already familiar with, or already agree with. Being stuck in a supportive loop of the same information in healthcare is not healthy. More people in the U.S. are taking medications for anxiety and depression then ever before. Does this mean that people can not live normal lives without these drugs? Dr. Bob looks at the issues and the alternatives to the massive medicating of our population due to stress and anxiety.
