The South African Medical Association (SAMA) has raised concerns that there is a dire shortage of oxygen, hospital beds and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in Kwa-Zulu Natal. Besides operational resources, the province also faces a shortage of trained medical staff and healthcare workers are overworked.
