Is how old you think and act more important than the age you actually are?
According to a recent study conducted by researchers from University College London your self perceived age is more important and a greater indicator of your mortality rate than you chronological age. The research team found that people who felt 3 or more years younger than their age had lower mortality than folks who felt their age, and people who felt their age had a lower mortality than those who felt older than their age.
