We all want to have them. And yet, they are difficult. In this day and age, we need the skills to have the difficult conversations that need to happen to usher in more unity. It's not by avoiding or acquiescing that we create more unity, it is by having honest, open and redeeming conversations. Let's do the hard work to crucify our knee-jerk reactions so our personal agendas will not rule and reign our essential conversations, and then perhaps we can truly desire the other person's good above our own. Now this is the way of Heaven.
