After walking through the fires of narcissistic abuse we’re usually left feeling depleted.

Somehow the relationship morphed to the point that we were made to feel responsible for the narcissist's needs, while our needs were ignored.

Now that we’re free from that toxic relationship things are in many ways so much better.

Yet we may still be facing the pain of multiple legitimate, yet still unmet emotional needs.

This is a real danger point because unmet needs don’t just go away. 

It can feel like an ache inside that becomes louder and more demanding until it drives us like a craving.  

If we’re not careful, unmet emotional needs can lead us to make poor decisions, disrespect ourselves, and even dishonor our values.
