The majority of us take good old H2O or water for granted without realising the basically important function it plays in our presence as humans! Did you understand that over 60% of our body is water and every one of our systems inside it depends on it to operate!
Water brings nutriments to our cells. It removes the waste products from our organs and gastrointestinal system, provides a wet environment for our eyes, ears and nose, carries leukocyte to combat infections and lubes our joints!
Our body obtains water from the fluids we consume and the foods we eat. It will come as no surprise that a lot of water is lost from our bodies via waste products.
You may not be aware that spending a penny or 2 just represents simply over 50% of the water our bodies lose every day. The remaining 50% is lost from sweat and evaporation off our skin and from our lungs.
Even if we don't perspire, we will still lose considerable volumes of water daily comparable to three to four cups of tea or coffee!
