The psalms teach us how to pray and live, and the theme of justice occurs frequently in them. David’s enemies plot wickedly against him, and he wants God to hear a just cause and stop them. The Lord would have us pray in the same way, calling on Him to act in the world on the basis of His covenant love and righteousness.
