Explain – Proverbs Chapter 10 has contrasting principles between good and evil, between the wise and foolish. The wise are glad to be instructed, have a lasting foundation, enjoy a long and prosperous life, have a stronghold with the Lord, are able to give wise advice and helpful words to others. Why would anyone want to go the way of the fool?
Apply – We should seek God, His righteousness so that we can benefit from His wisdom, knowledge, understanding and instruction that provides a strong foundation and shelter from the ways of the fool.
Respond – Lord, thank You for all You are and all You do. Help me and my house, all my generations, all our extended families and their generations to abide in You to obtain Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding and instruction that provides a strong foundation and shelter from the ways of the fool.
