6 For the Lord grants wisdom! From his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
7 He grants a treasure of common sense to the honest.
He is a shield to those who walk with integrity.
8 He guards the paths of the just
and protects those who are faithful to him.
Explain – The Lord grans people wisdom that seek Him. He will impart wisdom, knowledge and understanding. He grants common sense to the honest and shields those that walk with integrity. He guards the path for those that are faithful to Him.
Apply – He will grant us wisdom, knowledge, understanding and instruction for a better life where we will walk with honesty, integrity as He will prepare and shield our path. We must faithfully and obediently follow Him daily as we seek Him and deny our own fleshly desires that would tempt us away from our loving Lord.
Respond – Lord I strive to seek You continuously. I know You will grant me wisdom, knowledge, understanding and instruction for a better life as I walk with honesty, integrity as You prepare and shield my path. I know that I must faithfully and obediently follow You consistently and continuously as I seek You and deny my own fleshly desires that would tempt me away from You, Lord.
