HEAR Journaling - Psalms Chapter 24
Highlight – Psalms Chapter 24:1-2 New Living Translation
A psalm of David.
1 The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him.2 For he laid the earth’s foundation on the seas and built it on the ocean depths.
Explain – The Author, David the Psalmist, said that the earth is the Lord’s and everything in it including all its people. God laid the foundation and built it all.
Apply – The theory of evolution is a very cunning lie that has caught on in our modern society despite the overwhelming evidence that the universe is created to God. When you seriously look at the evidence you will discover that the evidence supports the Bible, not Darwinian evolution. I remember learning the truth in the 1990s and was so angry that I and millions of people had been lied to about the Darwinian evolution theory. The evidence is real you can see for yourself as the world is very complex from a molecule to galaxies, yet all operate in perfect order. Human systems apart from God operate in chaos and decay.
Genesis 1:1 ESV In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
Romans 1:24-25 ESV 24 Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, 25 because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.
Romans 1:20 ESV For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.
1 Corinthians 8:6 ESV Yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist.
John 1:1-3 ESV In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Hebrews 11:3 ESV By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.
Ephesians 2:10 ESV For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
Respond – Lord, thank You for this creation. I marvel at Your designs and the beauty and wonder of nature. I also marvel at this marvelous relationship that I experience with You. I diligently strive to follow You faithfully and obediently, always forever. I pray for those that do not know You, Lord. May Your Truth set each one free. Amen.
