Highlight – Psalms Chapter 25:8-10 New Living Translation
A psalm of David.
8 The Lord is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray.9 He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them his way.10 The Lord leads with unfailing love and faithfulness all who keep his covenant and obey his demands.
Explain – The Author, David the Psalmist, reminds people that the Lord is good, does what is right, and shows the proper path to those that go astray. He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them His way. He leads with unfailing love and faithfulness to the obedient.
Apply – We too should know that the Lord will lead us if we humble ourselves and follow Him obediently and faithfully.
1 John 1:9 ESV If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
2 Thessalonians 3:3 ESV But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.
Lamentations 3:22-23 ESV The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
Hebrews 10:23 ESV Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.
Deuteronomy 7:9 ESV Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations,
1 Corinthians 10:13 ESV No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
Respond – Lord, thank You for Your faithfulness. I strive to follow You faithfully, obediently, consistently, and continually, forever. I pray for those that wander without You; may they find You today!
