Charlie Knox helps us think further on how we can hear God. As well as celebrating the dramatic mountaintop experiences (Ex 19), we are reminded of the importance of God speaking in the whisper (1Kings 19). Some personal principles are shared including the importance of honesty with God, the need for ‘silence, solitude and Sabbath’, and the danger of hearing only what we want to hear (Jer 29:8-9).
