The encounter with Jesus on the road to Emmaus teaches us some valuable lessons. If we want to experience more of Jesus, we should:

- Discuss matters of faith openly with others.

- Acknowledge and expect Jesus' presence, power and reality in our daily lives.

- "Make room for Jesus" in our hearts, our homes and our lives.
