Friends, those that get on in this life listen to their heart and follow its dictates. They do this regardless of whether or not others approve because they are committed to following their Path and do not care whether or not they are fitting into the slots assigned by others. They know that their hearts are commanding them where to go and that their instincts will tell them how to get there. 

All of us have a choice when we wake up every morning: we can make our time serve us or we can fritter it away. Taoists choose to make their time serve them by maximizing their time and talents. Taoists demand nothing more than the life they are meant to live and settle for nothing less. They do this by following their hearts.
