Every week in NZ 12 babies are born with a congenital heart defect (CHD) which is 1 in 100 births. Congenital Heart Defects are the #1 cause of death in babies & infants in N.Z. There is no prevention or cure. June 3rd - 9th June marks Heart Kids Awareness Week.
