If we are to be completely in a relationship, we have to be whole, aware individuals who know what to feeland what we want as well as what we think, and we have to truly want to be in a community with others. I believe we can't come into the relationship dependant on others to get approval to make us feel whole.

When we come to relationships as whole individuals committed to acepting others in our community for who they are, as they are, we are committing to the relationship rather than ourselves, without giving up ourselves...
