Today’s guest is someone who was going to be the first guest on The Find Your Ultra Podcast. But when we started recording in December last year, he was already on his annual ritual of his month-long Vipassana meditation Retreat.

I’m talking about Madhur Daga, better known on instagram as The DagaSaga. Madhur is the Managing director of a 700-crore company. He’s an amateur endurance athlete, who can be seen pounding the pavement on the roads around central Delhi in the early hours of the day. Madhur has finished numerous marathons and half marathons, an Ironman 70.3, and the world’s highest ultra marathon - The Khardungla challenge.

For me, what’s most inspiring is to see him rise early and be out there hustling every single day, and also to see his discipline when it comes to nutrition, as he shared all of this on his instagram.

But recently, something shocking happened. Despite living most aspects of his life by the book, Madhur was recently diagnosed with a heart condition. Him, and all his well-wishers including me, were in a state of disbelief. But Madhur decided to turn this life event into a period of learning. He worked with the best of doctors, he educated himself about his condition, and a lot more. He’s now on a mission to educate people about heart health, and believes that if he shares this knowledge, lives can be saved.

This message is super important and so we’ve divided this episode Into two sections - Section 01 is where we talk about heart health, and this is the part that I request you to watch watch/listen till the very end.
