This week has been one of the hardest and most impactful seasons in our family’s life as our daughter, Aspen, went through heart surgery. In the midst of hospital halls, prayer chains, and overwhelming love from the church, God reminded us what truly matters.

In this sermon from 1 Corinthians 7–8, we wrestle with Paul’s guidance on marriage, singleness, status, and even eating food sacrificed to idols. At first glance these topics may feel distant—but underneath it all, Paul is pointing us to the deeper truth: our ultimate identity and freedom are found in Christ, not in relationships, achievements, or status.
