Much of the controversy around Jesus’ teaching during His day was the claims that He was making. On different occasions, to different people, He claimed to be God, God being His Father, and having all authority over heaven and earth. Those are some pretty lofty claims, and many people didn’t like it. However, Jesus was able to back up all His claims when He defeated Sin and Death on the cross!
