The Love Revolution with Jess King

In this episode, I'm sharing a few personal thoughts about AI music, using AI in general and how recording and finishing my new song "Sovereign Love" went. It's a brief episode just before nightfall done in one take and I hesitated whether or not to share it, but in the spirit of authenticity and abandoning my perfectionist tendencies I uploaded it and here we are! "Sovereign Love" is out Friday November 13 wherever you listen... least that is my intention!

A personal share about how I discovered we are Souls many years ago. We each have unique experiences in integrating this information (if we are blessed enough to) and this subject is something dear to my heart, for the comfort and assurance the understanding brings.May my story inspire someone else's integration or personal spiritual awakening. It doesn't take away the pain but it does provide some sort of solace (increasingly so over time and live experience for many).

My song, "Everything Reminds Me of You" (linked below) is dedicated to anyone who is really IN the deep pain of grief. I believe passionately that allowing our pain and sadness to be felt is important to the healing process. There is no timeline for this. It's unique.

My song "Courage to Believe" (written years later) is a much more inspiring song that would also have not come without experiencing the loss and deep knowing. I look forward to re-releasing "Courage to Believe" with a proper production (I released a live version).

Sharing this sort of thing public sometimes brings a feeling of uneasiness but I'm committed to sharing more of my personal journey, always the intention of awakening love. My response to the Cornell 7 case, sharing my relatively un-unique experiences of feeling unsafe as a woman and calling for accountability. Men, we need your voices. Ending violence against women and dehumanization takes all of us.Our sick systems of oppression in all ways are being dismantled and it takes as many of us as possible to actively be a part of the change. I debated sharing this but then realized it was only due to not wanting to be fully seen. F that - our humanity is literally why I wake up each day and am doing my best to awaken love. I never thought of it as courageous, yet the distinct lack of courage in supposed positions of power (most men, sadly) provokes me not to silence myself.Consciously not apologizing for my fire for it is this passionate heart that I trust I affected change at levels greater than those of which I am aware. You have the ability to direct your emotions in a way that helps yourself - even when it's a deeply painful feeling you're experiencing (like heartbreak or longing for something or someone). Emotions are energy emotion and as everything is energy, we can shift it into something beneficial to us. If you're trying to resist something (or someone) or change a pattern in your life that's not in your Highest good and you really want to give in - try this instead.
