Publisher's Summary:
Two weary strangers are about to rest their burdens in Eternity Springs, where there's hope for every broken heart.
Haunted by the loss of his wife and son, Daniel Garrett left the police force to devote his life to finding missing children. But he still hasn't found a way to mend the wounds of his past - until he attends a wedding in the small mountain town of Eternity Springs and meets a beautiful, intriguing woman who offers a glimpse of something Daniel thought he'd never have again. Sometimes life gives us a second chance at love.
Shannon O'Toole isn't looking for romance. Ever since her fiancé's death, she's created a quiet life for herself restoring Victorian cottages. Still, she can't deny her attraction to the handsome, broad-shouldered stranger. Daniel makes her feel things she hasn't felt in years - including the desire to share her secrets. But can Shannon trust a detective when doing so could bring danger to her cottage door? In Eternity Springs, anything - and everything - is possible.

great story...hard to listen to it
loved the story but the narrator was horrible. I love the way Katie Masur narrated the first books in the series....wish she could have done the rest. I will listen to the rest only because I love the series....
Robotic male narration.
I don't say this often but I wish I had read this book instead of listening. It seems to have been a fabulous story. BUT especially the male lead sounded like a robot. Almost didn't finish because of that.
Eternity Springs
if you like this series, you enjoy this book. The story is good and the characters are likable
Good as a stand alone listen
I almost didn't listen to the book... several books in this series are skipped by audible. I was worried I'd be too lost in for this listen to make any sense. I was pleased that the story could stand alone. There are a references to past characters, in Emily's other books that I found to be more endearing then confusing. The hardest part of the listen for me was the chance in narration. While not terrible, I think she might be better suited to another genera. At times she sounds like a robot. Perhaps she would be better suited to sci-fi.
Excellent listen!
Heartsong is a good word for this one. These characters are real, the story emotional and uplifting. If you like small town, feel good books, this is a good series to try.
