In Luke chapter eight Jesus likens the heart to soil and the Word of God to seed. Here He speaks of four kinds of soils to represent the four kinds of hearts. The Lord desires that our hearts be good soil that would receive the seed of the Word - so our lives would become blessed and fruitful. Too often that’s not the case so Jesus in this parable helps us to see the true condition of our hearts that we might respond accordingly! Let’s see where our hearts are at today on a Daily Walk.
