More of an intimate one on one reminiscent of the episode "24" from season one. In this one I wrap up season 2 and give some insight to the road ahead.
Specifically, for this episode I lay out some goals big and small and talk about how I approached coming up with these when I originally wrote this episode and how I view them now. Common themes are intentionality, discipline, consistency, and self-awareness. I also view this into a look into how I want to approach my life in a broader sense going forward. One could view this as building a foundation of boundaries and standards in my relationships.
As always, I appreciate everyone taking the time to listen. If you take anything from this show, I hope that it's giving you a place you can relate to in some way. You have value, you are loved, and you are amazing! -Steve
In this episode of the Pod, longtime friends reunite, we hear about the Torin Messer experience, and share a great conversation. From local events and Focus coffee grounds to how Torin creates and navigates his approach on the music scene. This episode touches on a lot of points of keeping the technicalities in creation in mind, but branching off of them to create something really special! Learn more about your new favorite artist, and please support both parties. Give us a rating, and let us know your favorite moments! Also, we Stan the matching hats!
On this episode, the heat speakers adopt a heavier topic and talk about their personal experiences with their families. From home movies, to photo albums, to divorce and absentee parents, we all have a story to tell when it comes to our experiences with family, and the boys are coming in hot with their own memories and the lessons they learned from them. Sit down with your favorite plate of leftovers and get ready for some deep discussions.
It's the spine tingling, and fashionably late, return of the heat-speaking boys! Today the guys talk about the things that make them reach for their respective security blankets while they discuss the topic of fears (both childhood and adult). Strap in to hear about the horror movies, games, and literature that have built and restructured their takes on what fear is, what it means to be afraid, and how to make fear a tool, rather than a creature that lives under your Gucci covered Serta sleepnumber mattress. We hope this one will have you on the edge of your seat, if you make it out alive... Also we talk about ant man.
We're back, and no this is not a drill! Not only have we renewed this podcast for a second season, but we are adding more structure and trying to properly create a solid show for all of our viewers going forward. This is a soft introduction into what you can expect, and a way for us to break the ice with the microphone and each other in this creative space. Hope you enjoy and thanks for listening!
