In Pastor Joseph's message this morning, he talked about three things that take away from our hope: panic, self-pity, and negativity. He also talked about three things that build up our hope: looking to Jesus, surrounding ourselves with the body of Christ, and an earnest prayer. 

If you're at the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on, and make that knot hope: hope at the end of the rope.

We put God in a box, and we're not just talking about the things we want Him to do... It's what we believe about who He is. He is so much BIGGER!

The sermon was "You Can Win: Changing Your Story," and we found out that we all may have a Goliath in our life, but we are not underdogs. Goliath brought a knife to a gun fight.
