There are many things we fight for in this life. We fight to make it day by day. We fight to pay our bills, to meet deadlines. We fight to hold on to relationships. There are so many fights innumerable fought in prayers to Jesus Christ.

There is another kind of fight. The kind of fight that enters into your soul, deep down into your spirit-man. It is a different kind of fight than all the others.

It always has to do with someone you deeply love, or for the life of your family, or a dear friend. Many years ago I entered into a fight for someone I love so much, so very much.

I immediately considered myself dead to everything but that fight. I felt myself become a different person in the hands of Jesus Christ.

It took me into the depths of the greatest darkness with a shattered heart. And it was there I walked on having only one verse in my heart. I went into the spiritual chasms of intercession.

In true intercession you die. It is hard to explain but in that death, another life comes forth. It is those of whom you prayed for. These fights are your fights of eternal love.
