The society preceptors explore their first cult, as they delve into Heavens Gate and its founder Marshall Applewhite. Learn of his beginnings and the eventual formation of Heavens Gate. Indoctrinating members into the group with stories of extraterrestrials and promises of the kingdom of Heaven. Sadly all culminating with mass suicide of its 38 members.
