It's not easy to watch others achieve things you think you should have by now... Or maybe you find yourself simply frustrated that your hard work feels unrecognized by God, while others are seem to be overflowing with the blessings that you keep praying so hard for. This can be a slippery slope that ends up changing our heart posture away from the truth of God's word and closer to the belief that we have been forgotten, un heard or just simply aren't enough in the eyes of God. These are all lies from the enemy and can creep in slowly, until all of a sudden your entire mindset is shaped around shame. How do we navigate this? How do we get to the point where we TRUST God's hand in our life, despite the timeline of what we think should happen? We will discuss all these topics and more on this weeks episode.
"Unraveling" has been a common theme throughout our episodes, but new seasons always bring new perspectives. What if the whole point of our individual unravellings aren't to get to a "promised land" but for our hearts to be renewed? & will we get to the point where that is enough, when our flesh so badly wants "things"? We will dive into this and more on this week's episode.
To often I find myself so focused on all my "busy" tasks of the day that God becomes simply, an after thought. It's never intentional, but seems to be a repeating theme in my walk with God that He has been unraveling lately. On this weeks episode we will discuss how the enemy uses distractions and business to simply separate us from God momentarily, which is a small part of his grand scheme to remove us from His presence all together. How to recognize this, call it out and move forward in a way that brings freedom for your mind and peace to your day.
Welcome back friends, it's been too long! I have been procrastinating the re-launch of this podcast for entirely to long and God has been stirring in my heart that it's time. Time for me to step out of the fear that consumes me, and share the most real, raw version you have seen of me so far. In this episode and every one moving forward, we will dive into the intensity and realness of what it means to really walk hand and hand with Jesus. The beautiful, the broken and the overall confusing parts of what it can look like for all of us. I hope you enjoy this episode and I feel so blessed to be back behind the microphone.
Some days it feels like i have to force my spirit to catch up with my flesh.. and not in a good way. I have seen the transformation of spending daily time with God, yet still find myself slipping in and out of “funks” as I call them. Avoiding spending time with God, which the enemy then uses to bring shame. Couple that with a few days of inconsistency and you have the perfect blend of “I don’t feel good enough to come to God anyway, He doesn’t want to hear from me anyways.” On this weeks episode we discuss why these “funks” seem to keep happening and how to escape it for good.
The enemy has used the perfect mix of convenience and comfort to distract most, if not all humans into believing that the things the world has to offer can fulfill us more than God can or desires to. What if a perspective shift was the difference between wilderness and prosperity? We will dive into this conversation and more on this weeks episode.
There is a time for everything, but that can be one of the most frustrating and distracting parts of our walk with God. How do I trust God’s supernatural timing when it makes no sense to me and what is happening around me? What does it look like to actually surrender our timeline of life and leaving the control up to Him? We will discuss these topics and more on this weeks episode.
It's easy to feel incapable of change or big things especially when we are trying to do it ourselves. Even the disciples, who walked with Jesus, struggled with feeling unqualified many times. In this weeks episode, we will dive into how to walk into the freedom of not only "feeling" qualified, but believing and living as such, through Jesus.
What does living in the Spirit actually look like in 2025? With all the pressure from society and trying to live up to unrealistic expectations, its easy to find ourselves more wrapped up in the "works" and trying to be perfect on the outside without paying any attention to our heart posture and what areas of our lives God is trying to flourish. We will discuss these topics and more on this weeks episode.
What's the point? I have found myself wresting God with this question over and over again. God uses our waiting to build us in ways we could never imagine, but its so hard to see or to feel like its "good" when everything around you is uncertain. In this weeks episode we will dive into how to find the reason for the waiting and how to step into true freedom for our minds in Jesus.
