This week we talked to Heavy Metal Chess Club, a midwest-emo band from Philly. Each member of the band has their niche in terms of interests, but they come together to make some sick-ass music. Once Clara and Hammer discovered their mutual love for emo music, Alex and Jackson were invited to the band to bring some different musical perspectives. Their most recent singles give us a taste of what's to come as they continue to develop their skills as writers, musicians, and bandmates.
