Do you pray for the persecuted church?  
Do you think through what it might be like to be separated from your family, from those you trust and love, and to have no control over anything in your life?  When you might eat again, or get to see daylight, or see a family member again?  

You should, and you should then pray for our brothers and sisters who are experiencing that right now.  don't think that Christians are persecuted?  Check out this web site.

joshuaproject.net and pray for an unreached people group.  Become familiar with one or two unreached people groups, do your research, and then huddle with your wife, and tell her about them, and pray together about that people group being reached.
