* Spiritual maturity doesn’t happen apart from PRAYER.

* Jesus was in a habit of prayer filled with emotion - He fully engaged Himself.

* Prayer apart from emotion is powerless (this is why worship music is so key).

* In the Garden He cried to the point of sweating drops of blood. Why?

* It wasn’t death He was scared of - it was SEPARATION from His Father.

* He knew He had to become sin and God couldn’t even look upon sin.

* KEY 1 - Sin is the Separator.

* KEY 2 - Spiritually mature people fear separation from God more than anything.

* ** Note - “He was heard because of His ‘reverence.’”

* Honor, respect, esteem - these open the ears of God to our prayer.
