The priesthood of Jesus is continual and intended to remain unchanged indefinitely. Jesus's duties of priest and office as King is uniquely merged into the Priestly Kingship. Jesus builds his kingdom and serves as the one greater that than both the sacred temple and it's high priests. Jesus, our Priestly King, has granted access to his New Kingdom through his New Covenant.
