Text Hebrews 2:10-18.
Jesus came to earth and was physically born to a virgin, Mary, fulfilling all of God's prophecies and promises to send us a Messiah. He came as the Son of God, the only being to leave the throne of heaven to become a little lower than then angels: fully human and yet divine. Because of this miracle of "God among us," Jesus is our brother. This is an enormous achievement, an incredible gift. He was born of a woman, and at the end of his earthly life, he experienced physical death. Then God brought Him back to physical life by resurrecting him from the grave, a second birth.
