Text Hebrews 4:14-16. Hebrews calls Jesus our "High Priest" who can sympathize with us because he lived a fully vulnerable human life, tempted as we are. One result of this mysterious and amazing life--divinity plus humanity in one being--we can approach the throne of Heaven with confidence, assured of a loving response to our faith, our needs. So, we can hold fast, firmly, take hold of, never let go of our faith.
