As we close out another year, Hebrews 11 reminds us of the faithful witnesses who have gone before us. They endured hardship, persecution, and even death, yet remained steadfast in their faith. Their stories inspire us to lay aside every weight and sin that hinders us, and run the race set before us with endurance.
Most importantly, we look to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith. He is the ultimate example of endurance, who for the joy set before Him, endured the cross. In Christ, we find the strength to persevere through life's trials.
True faith is a gift of God's sustaining grace that empowers us to endure to the end. As we rest in His faithfulness and fix our eyes on Jesus, we can face the coming year with unwavering hope, knowing that one day we will join that great cloud of witnesses in eternal victory.
