Alan is a retired psychiatrist living in Tipperary. He is the secretary of Hedgerows Ireland and believes that our hedgerows have never been more important as we face urgent and mounting climate and biodiversity challenges. His group is allied to a range of other stakeholders, including farmers, beekeepers and birdwatchers who share a common interest in these vital landscape features.
